Seamus has extensive knowledge of the hair industry. Over many years he has been instrumental in the development and progression of 100’s of team members who have been ultra successful both within the salons he has owned. So many have gone on to become uber successful in their own right, going on to become salon owners, independants, educators and some making a huge success of living and working abroad. His ethos is simple, consistency, value and respect.

    I'm just going to list the things this wonderful salon team have done for me: - colour correction from a different salon - delivered perfect results every single appointment - made ideal suggestions that I had been thinking about before I'd even mentioned them - constantly offering and providing refreshments throughout - been generous, understanding and kind when adverse circumstances have caused me to be late I honestly can't say enough good things about McCrory Hair and its fantastic team - Kalaya, Seamus, Alison, Molly, Jennah and another young lady also working there today, you are all just amazing and I can't thank you enough for the consistent care and level of quality you all consistently bring to your work and craft. As well as taking care of the colour correction on my first visit to McCrory Hair, Kalaya also coloured my hair ready for my wedding earlier this year and I left feeling so excited and beautiful. Needless to say I have been back several times since my initial appointment, and I have taken no chances and already booked in for Christmas. Thank you all so much again - I hope my small token of appreciation managed to stretch to get you all a much deserved coffee or treat. 🧡

    Definitely worth the traipse from Bury. Seamus and his team were very welcoming from the start. Had my curls properly pruned and emerged with glossy ringlets. They know their stuff. I will definitely be returning!

    Highly recommend McCrory Hair. From the initial enquiry through to my restyle and a follow-up maintenance cut last week, the entire team has been incredibly welcoming. Huge thanks to Seamus - his skill and expertise with long, curly hair completely transformed my look. As a 49-year-old guy, I used to just scrape my hair back out of habit, but since getting this cut, I’ve had multiple compliments and now comfortably wear it down almost all of the time. If you are struggling with curly hair and don't know what to do with it, I'd highly recommend calling in for a chat.

    Entered McCrory completely hating my insanely chaotic, wavy hair. Talked through my experience of having hair that nobody (and I had tried so many different people) seemed to know how to approach, and, as if by magic, was given a haircut that for the first time in 21 years I actually loved from the get-go. This was after the staff (especially Seamus and Molly — I can't thank you enough) went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at-ease. Coming from someone who, after a lot of bad haircuts, has a fear of going to get his hair done, this was a pretty big achievement. Thank you so much again for your wizardry with my hair!

    Visit to McCrory was great as always! All staff are super friendly and there is always a lovely atmosphere. I was in there for a good few hours getting my hair highlighted and cut. Kalaya did an amazing job, really happy with how great my hair looks and feels.

    I will shout from the rooftops how great this salon is! Seamus has done the most fantastic job with my hair, the spirals are glorious! His attention to detail and methodical work has really paid off. The salon has such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. 100% recommend and will definitely be returning.

    A huge thank you to Seamus. He was so kind, patient and professional with my nervousness and accommodated for my dislike of sitting at a mirror. Thank you also to Molly for your friendly chat. So pleased I found a place that confidently dry cut and styled my wavy hair, allowing it to feel natural. I’m a bit shy of uploading pictures of myself so you’ll have to trust that my hair looks fabulous! I had medium length hair and had it taken above my shoulders. I found the accommodation for non-neurotypical people quite refreshing, or rather, an understanding that we are all neurodivergent in reality - our uniqueness and diversity is very much just part of being human, right :) not a thing needing a label here without it being a ‘thing’ if this makes sense. I certainly won’t be so worked up about my next visit. Thank you once again.

    My second time at McCrory Hair and first getting my hair coloured. On my last visit I had my first ever curly cut and I was so pleased with the results, Seamus is clearly very experienced, skilled and knowledgeable. This time, another lovely cut and my colour turned out wonderfully. The atmosphere at the salon is lovely and relaxed, would definitely recommend to anyone but particularly the curly boys and girls!!
